Shelly is a 3 year old Shih Tzu who came into us in a horrific state and she is a lovely little dog who did not deserve this treatment by her owners. You can read her story on Cottage Rescue own web page Recent Cruelty Cases but be warned the pics are not nice.
She is still a bit timid and will require a special home and she has come on great here and is enjoying the company of my own indoor dogs and she even loves playing with toys and sleeping on the couch.

Poor Shelly is totally blind in one eye but it seems to have no effect on her at all and her hearing is 100% perfect and I am very pleased to see how well she has come on in such a short time here in the rescue and to see her gaining such confidence with every day that goes by, it is so rewarding.

She is a sweet little dog with a big character and welcomes everybody with a wagging tail.

She will make a smashing pet for somebody that will love her and she will be great with children over the age of 5 years.

Our dogs will only be homed to secure gardens or yards.

She will be Spayed, Microchipped and Vaccinated before she goes to live with you.

Please ring Hannah: 087 970 1919 or Nikki: 087 6310 140 for further details.

RESERVED pending home check..

Shelly is put on hold for a few weeks until Blood Tests are done and the results are back but she is doing fine and is in my house every evening with my dogs.

Not good Stevie as she is now in the back yard with Skyler and he see's her every evening putting them to bed and every morning when he lets them out ( bless his tiny heart ) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile-funny.gif) and she is in the house with my lot as well, so fingers crossed for the bloods when they are done and that she can be homed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/new_thumbsup.gif) as I refuse to have another Shih Tzu living in the house with us, I am hoping that he understands this but he does pet and dote on her too much for my likeing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/new_unsure.gif)
